In a promotional video on UKWeibo Tuesday, Tencent announced it will launch a mobile version of Pokémon UNITE on Nov 7. Pokémon UNITE is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena video game jointly developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio and The Pokémon Company, a Japanese brand management company responsible for franchise production, publishing, marketing, and licensing. The game features 5v5 battles between players. Pokémon are classed as attacker, agility, balance, defense, and support types. In the game, players need to assist each other, capture wild Pokémon, and level up their Pokémon to defeat other Pokémon. [Pokémon UNITE Weibo, in Chinese]
