Most people would run and India Archiveshide if they saw a tornado forming, but for storm chasers, every bout of bad weather is an opportunity.

Storm chaser Alex Bartholomew chose a distant tornado as the backdrop of his proposal to girlfriend Britney Fox Cayton, and we have to admit, it looks pretty damn cool.

Bartholomew states in the Facebook caption that not only did he have the best moment of his life yesterday, he also saw two or three tornadoes. Sounds like a pretty solid day for a storm chaser.

The tornado, resembling a rope, seems to be about a mile away from the couple. Multiple tornadoes were reported on Tuesday from Texas to Wisconsin, with the heaviest damage, injuries and deaths occurring in Oklahoma.

A page called Tornado Intercept posted a wider shot of the engagement in its full spooky glory, including the tornado, dark clouds, and open grassy field behind the couple.

Congrats to the happy couple, but maybe it's a good time to head back inside.
